Educational Programs Offered

Early Discovery

8:30 am - 12 noon
3-Day or 2-Day Programs

This program is for our youngest children, who are not "quite three years old". These children are verbal, potty trained and ready to transition from the home environment into a preschool community.

Children this age begin to explore with all kinds of mediums, such as: paint, glue, glitter, play dough, crayons, and markers. They start to pretend and use their imagination in dramatic play, blocks, cars, puzzles, and manipulatives. This develops their fine motor skills. They learn how to socialize with one another by playing together and having their snacks and meals together.

Story time is always a special moment together with new Bible stories introduced each month. Children must be three years old by March 1, 2012.

5-Day, 3-Day or 2-Day Programs

8:30 am - 2:00 pm
5-Day Program

This program is for children that will turn three years old by September 1, 2011. These children are also potty trained and ready for everything. They have grown in leaps and bounds and so has their interest in exploring their world in a hands-on way! They have a grasp on "how" to do most things at this age so they really enjoy playing with one another.

Our qualified preschool staff has designed a curriculum that is filled with creative and age appropriate learning, including:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Music
  • Stories
  • Creative movement

We continue with our Bible stories each month. They also continue to work on their social skills during playtime, snack and lunchtime.

Pre-K

8:30 am - 2:00 pm
5-Day or 3-Day Programs

This program is for our four year olds. Children must turn four by September 1, 2011. Our focus is to prepare them for Kindergarten. There is an extensive concentration on learning how to: write their names, the alphabet, beginning sounds, word recognition, and beginning reading skills. They have real life exposure to:

  • Science
  • Math
  • Spanish
  • Literacy
  • Social Sciences
  • Geography
  • Bible stories
  • Music

We teach them skills to be more independent and to problem solve. Their fine motor skills really blossom at this age, so we encourage free play with all kinds of manipulatives.

In May, we have a graduation ceremony to "officially" send our 4 year olds off to Kindergarten!
