Creative Centers
Music
All our children enjoy upbeat and creative music each week. We create an environment rich with music and movement, to allow for the exploration of musical equipment, and to engage in plenty of diverse, stimulating musical activities. The children learn rhyming, seasonal, and biblical songs as well as songs that include culture and holiday traditions.
Creative Movement
Creative Movement is a joyful way for children to explore movement through music, develop physical skills, channel energy, stimulate imagination and promote creativity. Creative movement uses body actions to: communicate an image (the wind), communicate an idea (a journey) or communicate a feeling (strength). Through movement, children learn about their bodies, the space around them, and each other.
Bible Enrichment
Each week all our preschool children will learn all that God has to offer them through Bible stories, interactive play, puppets, music, and related art projects. The children will be exposed to age appropriate Bibles and will make monthly visits to the Chapel where our ministers will talk and read stories to them.
Creative Art
Pre-K children are active learners, and making art is a hands-on activity that expands imaginations and exercises creativity. It also develops small motor control and eye/hand coordination, and sharpens children's powers of observation.
Our children will learn the fundamentals of art - color, line, shape, form and texture - by painting and drawing, making collages, fashioning three-dimensional objects out of clay, and talking about their work. They will learn to recognize patterns, primary colors, and discover to mix two colors to make a third.
Before Care
7:30 am to 8:30 am
This is our before-care program that begins before the academic part of your child's day has started. It begins at 7:30 am for those children that have been signed-up by their parents.
After Care
Noon (and 2:00 pm) to 3:30 pm
Kids Club
This is our after-care program that begins when the academic part of your child's day has been completed. It begins at 12 Noon or 2:00 pm for those children that have been signed-up by their parents because they need a longer day for work, meetings, appointment, or play.
Parents may sign up monthly or "as needed" basis. Additional fees are added to the basic program that you choose for Kids Club. Kids Club is a laid back fun-filled afternoon for your child. It includes playtime, stories, art, rest-time and movies. Kids Club runs until 3:30 pm each week day school is in session.
